POETRY

Da Dum Da Dum Da Dum.

Da Dum Da Dum Da Dum—
rolls the drum;
toes on the ground,
jack sways with the wind.
Taking circles,
motions and devotion;
once and twice and thrice,
for a hundred times.
Until hands start to shake,
bristles and sways—
undefeated.

Da Dum Da Dum Da Dum—
rolls the drum;
toes on the ground,
jack sways with the wind,
Taking circles,
devotion and motions;
thrice and twice and once,
for a hundred times.
Until hands start to shake,
bristles and agony—
defeated.
