The last bell rang,
Everyone were feeling overwhelmed.
The walls whispered goodbye,
I hugged the pillars and cried.
From learning alphabets to debentures and shares
From having awkward conversations to not stop laughing at each other's jokes,
From being reluctant and awkward at first day of school
to crying on each other's shoulders at the last day of school
On this last day of school,
our hearts are full and sad
we're not prepared to let go,
of the moments that we've had,
with every step we take, the memories we recall,
It's hard to say goodbye,
to these cherished days and all
Though distance may divide us,
our hearts will still be near
I am not gonna lie
It is hard to say goodbye
But it is time to turn the page
And to climb out of our comfortable cage
This is not where our life ends
In fact it's actually where it begins
Things are going to change
And at first it might feel strange
But that is how we will grow
We cannot keep going with the flow
So I just want to say
always keep your head up high
and don't cry.
