What It Feels on the Other Side

It makes you blind,
at least enough to not see me.
Truth,
It makes you see me,

Truth is meant to be seen,
But you look away anyway.
You choose what feels easy,
Not what feels real.
So I stand right here,
Yearning to be seen
But still unseen.
