Aporia is a curated space for young writers — navigating doubt, silence, longing, and everything in between.
A cash prize, publication, and a special edition — and detailed feedback for every writer who enters.
A selection of voices that chose honesty over perfection.
“i am learning that i can love a thing without knowing how long i get to keep it.”
“That was how life had reduced him from beginning to end: numbers in prison records, numbers in the records of the dead.”
“I knew then I was no muse, no name to remember, barely worthy of a footnote in an artist’s life.”
“my grandmother laughed with her mouth shut, her legs crossed, her thighs glued to the wooden chair.”
“A life that fit him the way the suit fit him — correctly, precisely, and like someone else’s.”
“Silk is too light. It burns lighter than a feather.”
We believe writing is not meant to impress —
it is meant to reveal.
We believe the quietest voices
often carry the deepest truths.
And we believe that being read,
even once, can change everything.

New writing published. New voices introduced. The archive grows with every issue.
Writers from across the world. Literature that refuses to stay in one place.
Poetry, prose, fragments, letters, essays. If it's written with honesty, it has a home here.
Aporia is not a platform for perfect writing. It is a space for writing that feels real.
We exist for the unfinished thoughts, the quiet realizations, the things that sit with you longer than they should.
Here, your words don't need permission — only presence.
Our Story →Every submission is read by human editors. No algorithms. No shortcuts.
Submitting to Aporia will never cost you anything. That's a promise.
We celebrate where writing comes from — every corner, every city, every country.
English now. French, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin and more — coming soon.
You don't need to wait to be ready.
You just need to begin.
