Waiting for Rain

I sat on the edge of the cliff
Staring at the dark clouds
Scattered in the sky
The ocean waves danced with the wind
While the clouds roared
Ready to join the ocean
Suddenly the clouds went quiet
The ocean and wind stopped
Not a single drop fell from the sky
But still
I sat there waiting
Knowing it will rain
